Thank You, Andrew Miller

When I think of Andrew Miller and his contribution to Quest, I think “First Aid on Steroids.” Today, marking his last course at Quest, we salute this man of courage, tenacity and excellence.

Shamwari Game Reserve first recommended him as a top-rated First Aid instructor when we started Quest 16 years ago. Since then, he has faithfully returned on an annual basis, driving huge distances to impact, cajole, bully, entertain and passionately awaken in Questers the mindset and skills needed to be ready and able to save lives.

At Quest, we teach guys to identify their talents, to be motivated by God-given noble desires, to fill the voids in the world and to answer life’s many problems. This is the road to discovering purpose, passion and joy.

Andrew Miller has answered these calls on his life in a big way and has benefited us and many others around the country with his rare service and commitment to maximising his talents for the good of others.

His punchy, engaging teaching style is perfectly suited to down-to-earth Questers. The loud guffaws of laughter that frequently erupt during his sessions demonstrate his talent for capturing the imagination and keeping guys on their toes.

He has had to sacrifice for the people most precious to him—his wife, Dominic, and his son, Jacques—because his work has taken him all over the country to fulfil his purpose and provide for his family.

And so, we wish him well in his new home-based venture to teach live online courses.

We salute you, Andrew, and are deeply grateful to you for all you have done to add to the skills, flavour and quality of Quest.
